Creation of the mural “The cooperation as a way to understand the world”

Students of the primary schools Bernat de Mogoda, Santa Perpètua, Institut Santiga and the secondary schools Estela Ibèria and Rovira-Forns, will contribute with some ideas and with the painting of drawings in a section of the mural. City Council of Santa Perpètua de Mogoda - Solidarity and International Cooperation Department, Community Action Department and Socio-educational Action Department.

The activity will take place during the days 15-30 of November and the workshops in the 21 and 22 of November in the afternoons. This activity consists of the painting of a mural by a team of professionals in collaboration with the children of the socio-educational department. Two workshops of an hour and a half each will be conducted. The theme of the mural englobes topics dealt by the Cooperation Department; non-violence and Peace, refugees of armed conflict, politics or climate change, volunteerism, responsible consumption or ending poverty. The 29th of November, the Local Council of Cooperation will present the space to Cooperation entities and to its citizens. Participation of the elected officials: Neus Garcia Ribas, Councillor of the Solidarity an International Cooperation Department. This mural is made as a continuation of another mural from last year, under the railway, and pretends to visually unify the space and make it more welcoming.
