Escape Room responsable, local y justo / Responsible, local and fair Escape Room

After two years of collaboration with the Provincial Council of Cordoba to raise awareness against food waste and promoting responsible eating habits among young people, FAMSI identified the need to create a tool closer to youth, which would raise awareness and have fun at the same time; on the other hand, FAMSI wanted it to be a suitable tool for the new pandemic situation that made it difficult to carry out face-to-face activities. Thus was the Escape Room “Famsícolas al rescate” born, a game whose ‘late motiv’ is to save the planet earth from destruction. To do this, students take on the role of a group of aliens from the planet Famsi (‘Famsícolas’) who must show their previous knowledge about environmentalism, local trade, sustainable use of commodities, recycling, ecological footprint etc. They must solve the necessary tests to take off their spaceship on their way to Earth, and specifically, to the province of Córdoba. In 2022, the project aims to raise awareness of the importance of responsible consumption and implement the escape room tool “Famsícolas al rescate” in 10 schools in Cordoba’s province.
