Video message by Pietro Puccio, Mayor of Capaci

Pietro Puccio, Mayor of Capaci (Italy) and CEMR Spokesperson on Asylum and integration takes part to the EDLS campaign through a video message.

He explains: “Solidarity consists in placing others, with their needs and demands, at the center of the world. But solidarity is also exercised between local authorities, which represent the small communities to which citizens feel they belong. It is only by increasing support for local authorities and giving them the means to develop policies of solidarity and volunteering that we can build a better Europe.”
